Log files of the web server

Should you simply use the website for informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, then we will only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server.

We will temporarily store such data, technically necessary for us, such as your IP address, so that we can display our website to you and ensure its stability and security. Our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR forms the legal basis for this.

Contact

Our website contains a contact form through which you can get in contact with us. When using the contact form, the data you enter in the input mask is transmitted to us and then stored. Your IP address and the date and time of your request are also stored.

It is also possible to contact us using the e-mail addresses that we provide. If this is the case, any personal data you send us by e-mail will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of dealing with your enquiry or the reason why you have contacted us. The data will not be forwarded to third parties. The data is used exclusively for processing the communication.

Your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. lit. a GDPR forms the legal basis for the processing of your data within the framework of your contact enquiry.

Use of cookies

Cookies are small files that are stored on your hard drive and assigned to the browser that you are using, and through which certain information is passed on to the body that sets the cookie. Cookies cannot be used to execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. Their purpose is to make the website as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

The storage of technically unnecessary cookies or the use of comparable technical functions is carried out based on the legal grounds of consent in accordance with § 25 para. 1 of the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG). Any further processing of your data shall be done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Cookies that are technically necessary are stored in accordance with § 25 para. 2 p. 2 TTDSG.

More detailed information about the cookies we use can be found in our cookie banner.

Use of Google Web Fonts (local hosting)

This website uses so-called web fonts that are provided by Google to display fonts in a uniform manner. Google Fonts are installed locally. A connection to Google servers does not take place.

More information about Google Web Fonts can be found here and in Google's data protection declaration.

Application

If you apply for a job offer or send us a speculative application, we will then process the data you provide in order to process your application. Your documents usually contain special types of personal data (e.g. information on marital status; information on health; a photo that may allow us to draw conclusions about your ethnic origin and, if applicable, eyesight and/or religion; data of a similarly sensitive nature within the meaning of Art. 9 of the GDPR).

The legal foundation for the processing of applicant data is Art. 88 para. 1 GDPR in conjunction with. § 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), since the processing is necessary in order to decide on whether to establish an employment relationship.

Should your application be unsuccessful, it is possible for your personal data that was provided during the application process as a whole (e.g. in cover letters, CVs, certificates, applicant questionnaires, applicant interviews) to be stored beyond the end of the specific application process. This allows us to contact you at a later date concerning future positions that may arise. Your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a GDPR would form the legal foundation for this.

Otherwise, your data will be deleted 6 months after the completion of an unsuccessful application process in the event of a rejection.
